Police had arrested one Nepali and three foreign citizens along with prohibited drug Cochin. Police had made these 4 arrested alleged on Wednesday. Drug Control Bureau of Police had started an operation named as operation fees in which police will be working in an investigating the cases related to drug. Under the operation fees of police, police had arrested Dil Bahadur Gurung of Tanahu, Indian citizen Tuhid Khan, Nigerian citizen Mohammed and Yamaris Carmen Norvez citizen of Venezuela are arrested along with prohibited cochin 2 kg 6 hundred 87 and also along with 36 lakh 60 thousand rupees money. DIG Jaya Bahadur Chand, President of Drug Control Department said police team has been able to succeed for the first time to arrest the international drug smugglers after long inquiries. As foreign citizens too have been arrested so, police has been cooperating with concerned in abroad for further action. Through the investigation it has been proved that the citizen of Venezuela Yamaris Carmen Norvez have been spreading the trap of prohibited drug, Cochin in Nepal from Venezuela. Norvez of Venezuela had been sent to Nepal with 2 kg 6 hundred 83 kg of Cochin that worth of rupees 36 lakh 60 thousand from Venezuela to Colombia, Brazil and Dubai to Nepal. As Norvez of Venezuela had been arrested on Jestha 9 other international gang of drug traffickers is arrested said the police. Police had arrested additional 3 more drug smugglers according to the information given by Norvez along with Cochin that had been hidden under the nylon rope that is used for fishing.
