Coalition’s Singhdurbar­centric Movement compelled Traffic Police Divert the Routes in Valley

­ Due to the movement started by Sanghiya Gathabandan (Federal Coalition) at Singha Durbar, Kathmandu Valley’s Traffic Management was badly disturbed. As the Coalition started the movement outside Singha Durbar since morning through evening 5 o’clock, all the vehicles passing through nearby routes were completely stopped. Due to the movement of the Coalition’s Movement, the pedestrians, drivers, riders and all other passengers endured difficulties the whole day. "When the route is blocked, any way one should search the route to go through; also the traffic could not impose the power…" says a senior citizen riding back on a motorbike. "I, from Thapathali, am heading to Bagbazar; as I got no way, I am entering through this route," says another bike rider. "Yes, I, through this way, was heading to Patan Hospital; there is traffic problem now," says another bike rider. Due to the movement of Coalition, traffic police had felt uneasy management of traffic rules. The transit through the Singha Durbar road was completely affected. Many vehicles were diverted on the way sitting at several places at the valley’s road; traffic police had diverted the vehicles so that they could not get disturbed; the diversion of the vehicles had remarkably affected the riders and drivers. "We have communication with each other; based on the communication, we manage the traffic on the road; this is how we manage the traffic based on the communication and coordination among us," said Lokendra Bahadur Malla, Speaker of Metropolitan Traffic Police Headquarter.
