After a fortnight of relatively compassionate weather, nearly 400 climbers could safely reach the summit; the series of fatalities emphasized the tough conditions in Everest’s socalled Death Zone the area above 28,000ft topography having low temperature and thin air. Two other Indian climbers are missing in the area of Death Zone. The deaths raised concerns over safety measures of operators on the increasingly crowded and competitive summit,which was not climbed for two years after 16 guides died in an avalanche in 2014 A.D., followed by an earthquake killing 18 the following year, which is the number of only mountaineers; however, thousands of people died in the devastating earthquake in Nepal. With a short window of time to reach the summit before the monsoon arrives in June, long queues have been registered in recent days ashundreds of eager climbers make a race for the world’s highest peak.
