KATHMANDU: Few hours after Dr Govinda KC accused Lokman Singh Karki, the chief of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), of corruption and demanded impeachment against him, the CIAA hit back at the veteran orthopaedic surgeon dubbing his demands “an indication of meanness, anarchy and unhealthy mind.”

In a statement, CIAA Spokesperson Krishna Hari Pushkar accused Dr KC of dereliction of duty and repeatedly failing to behave properly, and asked the government “to make an appropriate arrangement for Dr KC’s treatment as soon as possible”.
