The fire has destroyed the property equivalent to about 6.5 crores, which includes destruction of houses, sheds, animals and properties inside the houses. The victims who lost their houses are given some relief fund, Assistant District Administration Officer Mr. Ghimire said. Accordingly, the wildfire has damanged the forest area as well. Including the community and the national forests, about 12,831 hector forest area has been completed by the wildfire. In 144 community forests; and in 7,211 hector community forests in the district, 5,620 hector forests have been destroyed, as said by Mohan Prasad Dhungana, Assistant at District Forest Officer.
