, Feb 10 2016 Prabat Thulipokhari VDC’s 26 years old Muna Nepali and her brother Ashish Nepali are the leprosy patients. Just because of suffering from leprosy, they have not only been hated by the society, but have been displaced from the village. The family members of Muna Nepali are living in rent far from her own home; however, the landlord did not give the apartment so easily. They have the complaints that the villagers have not involved them in any social programs. Victim of the leprosy Ms. Muna Nepali says, "Villagers hated us very much. They even discouraged us saying that it is better to die instead of living such a life. My fupus (paternal aunts) used to provide food hiding from others. Husband was also scolded by the people of the place. And, so we lived in the jungle as well. My eldest younger brother was in India, so I stayed at jungle as well. We used to sleep inside gunny bags. In such a pathetic living also, nobody loved us. Our mother is also suffering from the villagers. Our mother has been beaten by the uncles in the village. And, I went to die." When the villagers started showing their hatred feeling, they were compelled to live in the jungle. In the jungle, they passed many days. Ultimately, due to a good neighbour, they were called back to the village; however, they were not involved in the functions and programs; nor other people showed them love and sympathy
