Police have raid in some of the medical stores suspecting that drugs are being sold and distributed from medical stores and the special information police had received came to be true. The state has been spending millions of rupees for drug control but as the drugs are being supplied from medical stores even the occupation has become infamous as well as the investment of the state for drug control became useless which was similar to mix water in sand. Medical stores around Bir Hospital, the eldest and oldest hospital of Nepal we can see the crowd of customers. In the medical stores we can see the crowd of patient and customer for two reasons. One is the arc of patients and another is facility of medicines in a convenient way. So, these medical stores are in the eyes of Drug Control Department Bureau and Drug Department and the reason was to supply some medicines including drugs arbitrarily. Last week, Drug Control Department Bureau, Drug Management Department and Drug Control Department branch under Home Ministry joint team had monitored in which Aayush Pharmacy, Santosh Pharmacy, Satyam Pharmacy and Aaraf Pharmacy including other medical stores had been found distributing arbitrarily some medicines that includes drugs such as diazepam, clonazepam, Chlorine phosphate, morphine sulphate, lorazepam and many others. It also has been found that medical stores are doing several such works that had been banned to do as it used to do great side effects.
