past almost three months but
including Panchthar and most
of the schools that are
operating in Eastern Terai have
not reached the new syllabus
books.
It has already been fixed to
conduct first terminal
examination from Asar 15 even
though the students of grade 6,
7, 8 and 9 had not got their text
books yet. Along with Panthtar,
Illam and Taplegunj of Mechi
zone, Janak Sikshya Material
Center, Biratnagar have to
provide the quoted text books
and syllabus for the students in
districts through stationery
entrepreneurs but yet they have not sent it due to which the problem has been created.
Science, Social Studies, English, Nepali and Computer of class six and seven including
Economics, Population and Health Education, Nepali and English of grade nine are still
not available complained students.
Students complaint that it ahs already past almost three months since the new course
has started but yet they are not being able to get text books in market and stationery
due to which their study has been hampered lot. Even though text books are lacking,
teachers of the school are running their course.
Durga Raj Khatri, Prinicpal of Phidim Higher Secondary School said, the essential text
books for students are brought from Biratnagar shop and they were submitted here but
to bring those books to Phidim from Biratnagar there comes lots of obstacles due to
which student could not get text books on time.
Stationer entrepreneurs said because of the negligence of Janak Sikshya supplier that
had got responsibility to bring text books in eastern region the text books could not
