68year old Durga Bahadur B.K. studies in class10 after RaitarBaa Guess the Age of 10Class Students – 14, 15, 16, or ……? But, Durga Bahadur B.K., resident of Syanja’s Fedikhola Deurali, is studying in class 10 in Kalbhairav Higher Secondary School located at Khadketar in his 68year old age. There is no age bar for study; and Durga Bahadur B.K. is the burning example. Durga Bahadur B.K., resident of Syanja’s Fedikhola Deurali, has started his journey of study from clas6 in Kalbhairav Higher Secondary School located at Khadketar. 6 people’s father and 8 grandchildren’s grandfather Mr. B.K. could not study in his childhood due to poverty; so he is fulfilling his desire of study, he himself says. “In order to generate awareness in all the poor and disregarded people, I have come to this field; and I would like to suggest all the people that there is no age bar in reading and writing; if a person’s hands, legs and eyes are working, he can do any type of work, and I have gained the same knowledge,” says 68yearold student Durga Bahadur B.K. Looking fit and fine in the school uniform, Mr. B.K. reaches to school carrying his school bag on his back, umbrella in one hand and the baton in the other hand. Durga Bahadur B.K., who reaches to school after a journey of half an hour, is friendly student. B.K.’s identity is distinct from the 200 students studying in the school; so it is little more time taking to make him understand, as the principal said. “I am impressed with his simplicity; he is friendly with all the students and teachers; he has played a role of guardians in the classroom to keep the students disciplined,” says the Principal, Kalbhairav Higher Secondary School.
