In a tragic accident, a 22­year old HCL employee died while her colleague was critically injured and is under treatment at hospital; the auto they were travelling in was crushed between two school buses including a chartered bus near Amity School, Sector 44. The auto­driver, on the spot, lost his life. The injured were rushed to Kailash Hospital right away; however, Pragya (22) was declared brought dead. Navia (22) received critical injuries and multiple fractures and was shifted to the ICU. She is fighting for her life. The auto driver also died on the spot as the front part of the auto­rickshaw has been crushed horribly. Police said that the incident took place at about 8:00am. A school bus carrying some children was moving from Noida to Delhi near Sector 44 police post as it was the time to pick the children for regular school. The auto was behind the bus. Right behind the auto, there was another blue coloured bus, which was chartered for the school. According to the police, the accident took place when the school bus hit the divider in the middle of the road; which made driver lose the control and he suddenly applied break. "The chartered bus driver rammed the vehicle against the bus along with the auto rickshaw. The auto driver and the two passengers were rushed to hospital where two of them were declared brought dead," said police.
