It is a horrible condition.” The bridges of Pashupat Kshetra, which has been enlisted in the World Cultural Heritage List, had been constructed in the period of King Prithivi Narayan Shah. As the reconstruction was not possible time and again, the bridges have been deteriorated to the last condition. When the bridges have been last phase and cannot be brought in use; only then, Pashupati Kshetra Bikas Kosh (Pashupati Area Development Fund) has delegated the letter to Road Department in order to get it repaired, as informed by the Committee. Pashupati Area Development Fund Secretary Mr. Govinda Tandan says, “As there is close relation with the Gaurighat’s bridge and they have the specialty over the bridge reconstruction or repair, we have requested Road Department for the necessary process. Accordingly, about the Aryaghat’s bridge, we have found there is requirement of reconstruction of the supportbar; and the rest is ok.”
