“Patriotism” is an emotional attachment to a nation which an individual recognizes as their homeland. It encompasses a set of concepts closely related to those of nationalism. An excess of patriotism in the defense of a nation is called chauvinism; another related term is jingoism. The abstract noun patriotism appears in the early 18th century. In the world history many people spoil their life’s fighting for their own nation, such people must have the feeling of nationalism. So, knowing such matter we know that it gives the knowledge about the history of the nation.
