After showering in the morning people head to a temple and before entering and praying to god with a peaceful mind, bell is rung first. Not ringing bell before and after going to temple does not satisfy us either.
But many might question, тАШWhy to ring the bell? Is it necessary?тАЩ But we need to remember that bells placed outside Hindu temples and churches are not made up of normal metals. Bells are made with the mixture of different metals in fixed ratio. A mixture of cadmium, lead, copper, nickel, chromium and magnesium are used to make the bells. The bells are made in such a way that different kind of vibration comes when they are rung which brings evenness in hearing of both ears and controls left and right brain. When they are rung, a sharp tone comes which lasts for at least 7 seconds, it contacts 7 healing centers of human body and a different energy is exerted. When we hear the sound, all the unwanted things from our head vanish and we become tension free.
And when all the bad things vanish, the day becomes good on itтАЩs own, potential to do the things we want increases. Bell also has another importance. Have you ever thought, what the sound of bell says? According to Hindu mythology, human body is represented by only one tone, that is Sanskrit word тАШOmтАЩ. And the sound of bell also says тАШOmтАЩ.
