Foreign Girl Walking the Streets of Thamel, Kathmandu

Two foreigners held an illusion show on the street in Thamel of Kathmandu to collect money to renew their visas and foods on Saturday night.

The foreigners were a German man named Filo and a Bangladeshi woman named Sarika. The man sat cross-legged holding a single leg of a chair with his left hand firmly, on which the woman was sitting cross-legged with closed eyes in the meditation posture.

A paper notice was found lying beside them, which read, “HELLO! OUR NAMES ARE FILO & SARIKA. WE ARE LEVITATING TO COLLECT MONEY FOR FOOD & VISA. THANK YOU!”

Piles of money were found being donated by Nepali pedestrians as well as foreigners, who had gathered around the illusion show on the street.
In an interview with THT Online, the foreigner man introduced himself to be a native of Munich in Germany and the girl from Bangladesh.
