Driver BalaramBhandari and assistant­driver BasantaMagar have been seriously injured. They are being treated in Chandrapur Hospital. Dr. SubashChaudhary has informed that the condition of assistant driver Magar is critical due to the effect of petrol bomb. A lorry (Na 6 Kh 4615) carried with some mangoes from Mirchaiyaheading to Kathmandu; in the meantime, at about 5:00 am, Biplav led party activists had attacked the lorry with a petrol bomb. Accordingly, at about 3:30 am, ban doers have sprayed patrol and blazed taxi keeping the driver inside it at Koteshwor. Taxi driver Deepak Kharel said he could hardly save his life from the taxi. “After the taxi started burning, I lost my sense what to do what not to do; I was out of mind; up to one and half to two minutes, I was inside only. I could hardly manage to escape from the burning taxi. Up to about 2 minutes, I was alone. After I got out down from the taxi, the taxi was slowly moving forward. Then, from one side, police and from the other armed police came. Then they surrounded me and inquired about the all,” said Deepak, the driver of the burnt taxi. Accordingly, Sajha bus has been pelted with stone near to Tripureshwor, Kathmandu. A person, involved in pelting stone, has been detained by police.
