bus driver Murray Dillon was just about to resume his work shift in Perth, Australia when he noticed a crowd of people gathering across the street. He quickly ran over and realized a woman named Shannon was having a massive heart attack — yet no one was actually doing anything to help her.

When no one else stepped in to help, Dillon sprung into action. For 20 minutes, the bus driver performed CPR in the middle of the road before an ambulance arrived, using the resuscitation skills he learned 30 years prior.
